Skirting not only adds to the price of the feeders, it causes a buildup of sticks and rancid hay that you have to muck out or move the feeder! They work great with calves but you need to be aware of this. We believe this is the optimum spacing for all sizes of cattle. If you are only using our feeders to feed calves lbs.
